- Cracks allow moisture into and beneath asphalt.
- Water expands and contracts with temperature & penetrates into
the base causing failures sooner or later. - Small Cracks always become Big Cracks. Big Cracks soon become potholes.
- Cracks from 3/8” up to 1" can be sealed with Hot Rubber sealant.
The Asphalt Sealcoating, Inc. Crack Sealing Process:
- Clean out crack using Grazor or compressed air
- Pour Hot Rubber at 330-370 Degrees F using specially designed Melter/Applicator
- Top with De-tack or specialty sand compound, if necessary
